Yang literature: scientific planting of pollution-free vegetables on the people's table
Daily gansu reporter pang chuanwei intern wang yuting
"The hope can drive home farmers to increase income and become rich, and more people can eat healthy and pollution-free vegetables." In a mountain nest in lintao county, the reporter saw Yang literature, who had returned home to start his own business and was already a little successful.
"Before planting pollution-free vegetables, I worked and started my own business in other places. In 13 years, I worked and moved from henan province to zhejiang province. During his 13 years' working experience, Yang has often dealt with vegetables and other food materials. He believes that the heavy use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the process of vegetable planting will not only affect the body, but also pollute the environment. Pollution-free vegetables are more nutritious and environmentally friendly than those grown with fertilizers. In 2012, Yang returned to his hometown from hangzhou with his family, working with friends wei cunwen and li hai to start their first batch of pollution-free vegetables.
At the beginning of his business, he contracted out about 200 mu of land in yucin, mainly planting potatoes, carrots, lotus vegetables, cabbage and so on. However, due to the lack of understanding of the market, when the hard-growing vegetables entered the market, few people paid attention to them because of the higher price than ordinary vegetables, and the poor sales volume threw a cold water on the passionate Yang literature. Yang and his friends also lost nearly two million yuan.
He found that his planting method was too backward and the planting cost was too high. As a result, the selling price of vegetables was higher than that of ordinary vegetables. Few people could accept such a high price. "In 2013, for example, the land price of ordinary potatoes was 0.8 yuan per kilo, while the price of harmless potatoes was 1.6 yuan per kilo, which was fully twice as high." In addition, single products and few sales channels have also become the factors restricting development.
The initial failure did not discourage Yang literature. After realizing his shortcomings in the market and technology, he invited two agricultural experts to learn planting technology from them and began to learn management and marketing knowledge by himself on the Internet.
With the understanding of the market demand and the mastery of technology, Yang had a new idea -- to abandon the old backward planting methods and try scientific planting methods.
"In the process of planting, we try to use non-harmful farm manure or natural fertilizers and use physical pest control. Grow land vegetables and use dragnet to prevent diseases and insect pests; When planting greenhouse vegetables, use sticky plates to prevent insects.
The new attempt means a new beginning, and Yang's demands on the selection of good varieties, the layout of greenhouse fields and rotation of crops are very strict. Through practice, he also found that soil tillage and disinfection, increasing the use of organic fertilizers, adopting physical pest control methods, and reducing the use of fertilizers and pesticides can not only reduce costs, but also effectively improve the planting quality.
"The new planting method has greatly improved the planting efficiency and reduced the labor cost by at least 30%." Yang literature introduction. Subsequently, Yang literature also combined pollution-free breeding with pollution-free planting, increasing the diversity of products and developing comprehensively.
From 2014 to 2015, the vegetables planted by Yang literature became profitable. Although the market price was still higher than that of ordinary vegetables at 0.2-0.3 yuan per kilogram, their sales became more and more extensive.
In 2018, Yang literature registered and established gansu qingyangtian agriculture co., LTD., specializing in organic vegetable production and distribution. At present, gansu qingyangtian vegetable planting base covers an area of more than 5,000 mu, mainly distributed in yuczhong, gaolan, yongdeng, lintao, silver and other places, providing fresh organic vegetable distribution for the demand group. "To serve ordinary people and farmers is one of the reasons for me to cultivate pollution-free crops," Yang said.
